- ¼ cup soju plain or flavored
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice NOT from a bottle
- 2 Tablespoons simple syrup or allulose
- Cup or shaker
- High ball glass full of ice cubes
Put your soju, liquid sweetener, and fresh lemon juice in your cup or shaker.
Then thoroughly stir or shake the mixture for about 30 seconds, and pour it into your high ball glass over the ice. Enjoy!
Swap the Sweetner: as an alternative to allulose, you can use any flavored simple syrup you'd like; I recommend mint syrup, passion fruit syrup, or yuzu syrup.
Using Flavored Soju: if you decide to use a flavored soju rather than plain soju, note that it will make your drink more sweet & flavorful, but it will also decrease the alcohol content by about a third. You’ll probably want to use no sweetener to make up for the extra sweetness. Pineapple, strawberry, or citrus would be my picks, of all the soju flavors.
